Welles Consulting Inc. (“we” or “us”) runs wellesconsulting.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, who receives it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
When you book a review. Your name, email address, phone number, and the time you choose. This and the message form are the only places the site asks who you are.
When you send us a message. Your name, email address, and message, through the form on our Contact page. Each message is saved in a Google Sheet and emailed to us so we can reply.
When you take the retirement readiness quiz. Your answers are summarized (for example, a savings range, your employer type, and the account types you hold). The summary is kept in your browser and sent to our analytics without your name.
Automatically, when you visit. Like most websites, we receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or link that brought you here, and which buttons and phone numbers you tap. Taps on a phone number record which line you chose, never your number.
When you arrive from one of our Google ads. A click identifier that Google adds to the link, and any campaign tags on it.
We never ask for Social Security numbers or account numbers. Please don’t send them to us through the site.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We don’t share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a website. We use them only to understand visits and measure our ads:
We do not use remarketing (ads that follow you to other websites), and Google’s ad personalization features are turned off for this site.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains more.
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our site does not currently respond differently to that signal.
When you use our site, Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across other websites through the Google Analytics and Google Ads tools described above. No other company collects that kind of information through our site.
When you book, we email you a confirmation and a reminder the day before. If your appointment is canceled, we may also text the phone number you gave us. Message and data rates may apply. To stop these messages, tell us by email or phone.
We don’t send marketing emails or texts from this site.
We keep booking details and messages for three years after your last appointment so we can serve you and keep required business records. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
To see, correct, or delete the booking details or messages we hold about you, email or call us using the details below. We’ll respond within 30 days.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (Wix and Google) to store it. No website or service can guarantee complete security.
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll say so at the top of this page.
